The Charlie Dee Blues Band

I attended blues jams at Major's Cafe in Fitchburg, MA hosted by The Charlie Dee Blues Band for several months when when their bass player Mark, left to start his recording studio work and Charlie asked me to join. This was a major break for me as this was the first regional band I had been involved with.

With The Charlie Dee Blues Band I got to play great and somewhat less played, blues tunes at some great venues for example, House of Blues in Cambridge, MA, Middle River in Portsmouth, NH, and The Call in Providence, RI. I also got to play with them twice for a live broadcast at WJUL-Lowell (parts of which were included on the Bloodshot And Blue Eye CD) and live on a local TV sports show. All in all, a great experinece from 1997-2001.

A side project from The Charlie Dee Blues Band was The Bridge which was Dave on drums, Ian on keys, and me on bass backing a vocalist/guitarist named Andy. We did mostly rock and some jazz-style tunes in the Fitchburg, MA area. It was a fun project.
